About Me

Hello , my name is Anthony Velez and I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I have over 10 years of psychiatric experience working in various clinical settings at the Cleveland Clinic. I worked 8 years as a floor nurse in acute psychiatry helping those individuals with acute psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and catatonia. However, I was able to find my passion upon graduating with my master’s degree from Ohio University.

From here, I developed an enthusiasm in treating mood disorders and those with PTSD. Having worked in the inpatient setting, as part of an intensive outpatient program, and in the outpatient setting, I aim to bring my experience and expertise to your care.

Psychiatric session

Online or in-person, this time will be spent evaluating your physical and mental health to provide medication to alleviate mental health symptoms. Depending on our initial visit, supplemental therapy maybe offered. If unable to accommodate therapeutic needs, I will gladly assist you in finding a potential therapist as it is integral to care.

Initial evaluation 60-90 minutes: $350

Private practice mentorship/coaching/PMHNP nurse preceptorship

Meant for aspiring clinicians that wish to open their own practice or perspective students in need of precepting. Online or in-person, this session will help you with what you care most about in your vision and develop a plan to achieve personal and professional goals.
